Reading: Psalm 9
God is just. Justice is getting what you deserve. Since God knows all actions, thoughts, and motives he can wield justice rightly. “His sentences are what justice demands, no more and no less.” He executes no wrong convictions and no one gets away with a crime. God gives us His just law for our good and safety. He disciplines and because of his holiness, he has wrath over sin. Because of God’s justice, believers can trust that we will not suffer his wrath for our sins because Christ was punished in our place.
