God is sovereign. This means there are no limits on his authority to act. This is His right as creator and author of all. He is the rightful boss of all people and all things, and his other qualities make him the most qualified to rule. As rightful ruler, all things submit to His will. Therefore, everything that happens is under his control. “Since he’s benevolent, our unquestioning submission is not only desirable, but is the only rational course to follow.” – Jen Wilkin
