Reading: Genesis 1 & Revelation 4
God is self-existent. This means God is uncreated and created all things. He requires nothing and no one to have life (we are not one with him, and he is not one with nature). He created all things from nothing and is the source of all life. Therefore, he “owns” everything. He is responsible for its care and has the right to do with it as he wishes. As creator, he is the source of all creativity and beauty.
